Web 2.0

From the beginning of the semester until now, I have found a lot of the tips and learning that we have done very beneficial to how I surf the web. One of the best things I learned was the Boolean search methods. With many projects and assignments to be done, I found that the easier was to find important information on my topics of research was done by using quotes, "AND", and "OR". This allowed me to really find articles that were about my topic, and avoid articles that happened to have certain words in them that I had searched. Some trends that I have noticed are that the internet is becoming advanced to the point that you can find internet connection pretty much anywhere for the convenience of all users. This allows the constant use of applications that require internet, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. Another major trend that changed the how we function and live our lives is the use of cell phones. They went from having a sole purpose of being used to communicate with other people, to an appliance that allows users to GPS, take pictures, make phone calls, surf the web, play games, access social media, check email, and so on. The advancement have become very extreme and the possibilities for future implications are endless.
